Daily Snacks · Amazon Reporting Skill

One product line turns an extra ad dollar into $7.59. Another turns it into $1.36.

Free TrackIQ skill. Every morning it writes a three-minute Amazon brief: the settled day’s numbers, the one story worth telling, and a numbered to-do list — as an email your team will actually read start to finish.

Built around the number no standard report contains: retail earned per extra dollar of ad spend, line by line. That spread is usually the story.

What lands in the inbox

A brief that argues one point, then hands you the list.

Eleven sections, one argument, three minutes. Not a dashboard export.

The Big Bite

The one story worth telling, with the chart that proves it.

Usually the marginal return spread: the line that returned $7.59 of retail per extra ad dollar next to the one that returned $1.36 for more money. Same account, same week, opposite directions.

The Scoreboard

Best line, worst line, biggest leak — named.

No “performance was mixed.” Every product line gets a plain-English verdict, and every aggregate has to survive the detail printed underneath it.

What actually lands: one email, eleven sections, no build step.

Connect the TrackIQ MCP and ask for today’s brief — or paste yesterday’s spend, sales, orders, ACOS and rank and it builds from those. Anything you can’t supply is left out rather than estimated. The result is one self-contained HTML email that renders in Outlook and Apple Mail without a build step.

  • The settled day’s retail and ad spend, then the same pair for the week behind it
  • The one story worth telling, with the chart that proves it
  • Retail earned per extra $1 of ad spend, ranked line by line — the spread no standard report shows
  • Rank, BSR movement, badge state and head term for every hero ASIN
  • A Snack Fact: one number nobody computed, annualised
  • A numbered to-do list, colour-coded cut, fund or admin

How it works

Get insights in 3 simple steps.

1

Download

Download the .zip.

2

Import

Import the skill into Claude or ChatGPT.

3

Analyze

Ask for today’s brief and it writes the finished HTML email.

The skill runs inside your own Claude or ChatGPT. Anything that leaves the chat — Slack, email, a webhook — shows you the destination and waits for a yes before the first send.

Frequently asked questions

Straight answers.

Is this really free?

Yes. The skill is free and open source, MIT licensed. The format came out of a brief we were already sending internally.

Do I need the TrackIQ MCP?

It is built for it — the MCP is what makes the brief automatic. Without it the skill asks you to paste yesterday’s spend, sales, orders, ACOS and rank figures and builds from those, omitting anything you can’t supply rather than estimating it. That works fine to see the format; doing it by hand every morning is the part that gets skipped, which is exactly what connecting the data removes.

What does it actually produce?

One self-contained .html email — table-based, inline-styled, no build step — that renders in Outlook and Apple Mail. It comes back in the chat first, every time.

Can I change the voice, sections or colours?

Yes, and they’re separate files so you don’t touch the skill: voice.md for tone, structure.md for section order, tokens.md for colours and type, template.html for the shell itself.

Where does the finished email go?

In-chat by default. It can also save to a file, post to Slack, POST to an n8n webhook or hand off to your mail tool. Anything that publishes outside the chat shows you the channel or recipient and waits for your yes.

Is my data sent to TrackIQ?

Only if you connect the MCP, which reads your Amazon account through TrackIQ. Figures you paste in by hand stay inside your own Claude or ChatGPT.

See tomorrow’s brief before you commit to anything.
